- 2001- current: Entrepreneurial business founder of new biopharmaceutical company focused on cardiovascular pharmaceuticals.. Myomatrix Therapeutics
- Elected as Success Chair of MBA class of 2002.
- Awarded Colicchio Intern in Rensselaer Entrepreneurship Interns Program at Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship
- Awarded Bozonne Fellowship at Lally School of Technology, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
- Founded tissue engineering laboratory and developed three-dimensional cell culture model to test the effects of drugs (NaF) on development of the mineralized tissue. Received Young Investigator Award and was interviewed on local television station medical news segment.

- Young Investigator of the Year award - Texas Mineralized Tissue Society Meeting (1993).
- Competitive Fellowship from the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine at the Waksman Institute, UMDNJ, NJ. (1989, renewed 1990)
- Development of a new biomaterial for improved bone fracture healing (M.S. thesis, 1990).
