- Appointed Research Assistant Professor of Biotechnology Management at Lally School of Management and Technology ( www.lallyschool.rpi.edu ) at RPI ( www.rpi.edu ) Nov 2001 to present. 

- Won $2000 award -  Lucent-Rensselaer Student Business Plan Competition - May 2001

- 2001-  current:  Entrepreneurial business founder of new biopharmaceutical company focused on cardiovascular pharmaceuticals.. Myomatrix Therapeutics

 - Elected as Success Chair of MBA class of 2002.

 - Awarded Colicchio Intern in Rensselaer Entrepreneurship Interns Program at Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship

 - Awarded Bozonne Fellowship at Lally School of Technology, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

- Founded tissue engineering laboratory and developed three-dimensional cell culture model to test the effects of drugs (NaF) on development of the mineralized tissue. Received Young Investigator Award and was interviewed on local television station medical news segment.

- Involvement with osteoporosis drug trial (phase III) and research protocol development (GCP, IRB).   
       Familiar with statistical analysis tools and methods.

- Developed novel protocols for micro-structural biophysical study of bone extracellular matrix.

- GCRC Young Clinical Investigator Award - General Clinical Research Center, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (1998) 

- Appointment as Adjunct Faculty, Center for Mineral Metabolism and Clinical Research, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, 1998-2000.

- Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology, UT Southwestern Medical Center. Co-Director of the Ultrasound Imaging Laboratory in the Division of Advanced Radiological Sciences. 

Invited speaker at world-renowned Heiland Lecture Series at the Colorado School of Mines, Denver, Colorado. 1998.

- Young Investigator of the Year award - Texas Mineralized Tissue Society Meeting (1993). 

-  Competitive Fellowship from the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine at the Waksman Institute, UMDNJ, NJ. (1989, renewed 1990)

- Development of a new biomaterial for improved bone fracture healing (M.S. thesis, 1990).
